Taylor Bicycles builds about 120 custom frames per year and each frame is custom built for a unique individual; Bike-Rx™ is proud to be the Taylor dealer that sells the most. Paul Taylor builds road, cross, mountain, tandems and track frames; not everybody needs a custom frame but for some people custom fit can make a world of difference, and if you don't need a custom frame maybe you just want something with a bit of craftsmanship. By getting a frame custom built you have more options as to how the bike will handle and tube selection, which can make the frame stiffer or more flexible.

The new Taylor Stainless Steel Frame

Taylor frames use only the finest steel tubes available. The three different methods of construction are:

• Lugged
• Tig
• Fillet brazing (our most popular)

Although some people think steel is outdated, there have been many new advances in steel metallurgy, such as True Temper new S3 tube set that comes in around 2.8 lbs, and Columbus’ Ultra Focco that comes in around 3 lbs.

Other Taylor bicycles features include carbon forks and seat stays for rider comfort.
